I’m in need of some money to pay our mortgage this month. Since William passed away before his disability check arrived I need money to help pay bills but our MORTGAGE is the most important one. I’ve been told if his disability check arrives that it must be returned to SS.I don’t qualify for spousal benefits until I’m 60 years old (another 3 years away). Unless I’m 50 and on disability. Well I’m in the process of being evaluated for my disability claim.
